Hey there. Whether you’re a perspective employer, possible client or just browsing, here are a few words describing who I am and what I’ve done. Enjoy.
- I graduated from UWS with a B. Computing (Information Systems) in April, 2012.
- I completed my Honours Degree in Computing, working with Dr. Anton Bogdanovych in Digital Humanities, primarily focusing on AI in Second Life.
- I was enrolled in a PhD for about a year, working in Automated Assessment of Programming assignments, but I left so I could teach English in Japan at SIFA.
I started programming in Year 10, 2005. Since then, I’ve got my hands wet with a bunch of different programming languages in a bunch of different environments. My area of expertise today is in full-stack web and mobile development. I completed my first internship with Reckitt Benckiser working in the IT department for 6 months from 2008-2009. I completed my second internship with First Data working in the project management office (PMO) for 6 months from 2010-2011. I completed a work placement program with SiteSuite during December, 2011 followed by a UWS-sponsored internship with Actron Air developing a mobile application for iOS and Android devices throughout 2012. I taught programming at UWS from 2012 to 2013. Currently, I’m teaching English abroad full time doing a bit of coding on the side.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy working out at the gym, reading and writing fiction, hiking and exploring and I’ve recently started to learn the piano. If you want to take a look at my formal resume, please click here.
